For management packages, I send invoices on the 15th of the month and payment is due by the 1st of the next month for services to be completed that month. For example, I send an invoice for October’s episodes (episodes released in October) on Sept 15, and payment is due by Oct 1.

I require the audio/video files 7 days before the episode release date. Ideally, I'd love to have them sooner! That way, if life happens (for example, if you or I get sick), we have episodes ready to go!

No worries! Longer episodes can be accommodated and for any additional time of raw audio over 30 minutes, there will be a prorated extra fee in 15-minute increments. But I always give my clients a 5-minute buffer. That means that if your episode is 35 minutes in length, there is no extra charge :)

Batching episodes is a great strategy to save time and work efficiently! By recording multiple episodes in one sitting (over a day, couple days or week), you reduce the need for repeated setup, allowing for a more efficient workflow. Batching can help you stay consistent with your episodes and can help with creativity! Because you’re focusing on several episodes at once, it’s easier to create themes or connected content that keeps listeners hooked!

I can create a custom package for you to suit your needs—whether that’s 12 episodes (batching weekly episodes for a quarter of the year) or a season of 20 episodes, for example.

Great question! When you record your podcast episode, I'll first edit the video. I'll remove major mistakes and false starts. From there, I'll take the audio from the edited video and edit it further to optimize it for your audio podcast. Since your audience for your audio podcast can't see what's happening, more editing is required to keep your audience engaged.

I pay special attention to taking out long pauses, filler words, stumbles, and stutters for audio episodes. Since the audio is the only thing your audio podcast audience is experiencing, we want you to sound polished and natural and have good audio quality so that your listeners keep tuning in to your new episodes.

Some podcast players now generate transcripts automatically for your podcast (e.g. Apple), but many players don’t have auto-generated transcripts available. The best way to ensure your transcript is accessible in every podcast player is to include a link to the transcription in your episode description.

Publishing transcripts makes your podcast more inclusive and accessible to a broader audience. Plus, transcripts help with SEO.
